Privacy policy
This is a local pZero preview. It does not submit applications, create lab accounts, send email, or upload research data. This page describes the preview; the operating organization, privacy contact, and terms for a future live service remain to be defined.

What the preview handles
If you try the access form
The request access form shows the proposed information a participating lab might provide, including contact details, insect and crop expertise, assay capacity, and research interests. Entries are for local review. The preview does not send them to pZero or begin an application review.
If you explore the portal
The portal illustrates the proposed lab workflow. Example identifiers and records are for review. Exploring it does not establish an authenticated pZero account, grant access to a shared corpus, or submit research files.
If you review onboarding
Any onboarding information in the preview describes a proposed process. It does not register you for a session or send an invitation.
What to enter in the preview
- Use example details. The forms are for reviewing the interface and proposed workflow.
- Keep sensitive information out. Use fictional contact details and research examples when exploring the preview.
- No live research submission. pZero’s data-collection terms and permissions have not been established for this preview.
Purpose and current status
| Data | Purpose | Preview status |
|---|---|---|
| Request Access application, including compound delivery details | Review the proposed application fields and delivery workflow | Local draft only. No application is submitted and no delivery is arranged. |
| Portal account and lab membership | Explore the proposed lab workspace and account interface | Example workflow only. No pZero membership or live account is created. |
| Upload records and receipts | Review how future research files could be checked and attributed | Local demonstration only. No files are sent to a research repository. |
| Onboarding registration | Review a proposed introduction to the lab workflow | No session booking or invitation is sent. |
| Server and security logs | Serve preview pages and assets on the local computer | The local preview server may record page requests in its terminal output. |
The privacy terms, legal basis, and operational responsibilities of any future service must be defined before it accepts personal data. The local-data guidance below applies to exploring this preview.
Local drafts and future retention
- Access form entries: local preview entries are not submitted for acceptance or rejection.
- Application decisions: no real acceptance record is created by this preview.
- Portal examples: reviewing the workspace does not create a live account.
- Downloaded files: copies you choose to save remain on your device until you remove them.
- Onboarding: no registration or invitation record is created.
- Future retention: schedules for a live service remain to be defined.
Your local data
The preview does not create a service relationship or establish pZero’s future data-rights process. You control any examples entered and files saved on your computer. These are the relevant local actions:
- Review. Inspect the example information you enter before using any preview control.
- Edit. Change draft values in the form while reviewing it.
- Remove. Delete downloaded example files and clear any local draft data you no longer need.
- Close. Stop interacting with the preview whenever you choose.
- Keep a copy. Retain any example template you deliberately download.
- Future service. Review the applicable privacy terms before providing real information to a live pZero service.
pZero’s operating entity, privacy contact, and response process have not been selected. The access page is a local workflow preview and does not contact a privacy or support team.
For general information about data protection, the UK Information Commissioner’s Office publishes guidance at ico.org.uk. This link is a reference, not a statement about the jurisdiction or terms of a future pZero service.
Security
This local implementation is for reviewing page content and workflow. It does not provision cloud storage or connect the preview to the source site’s Metadata/ and Video Footage/ folders. Authentication, access control, storage, and research-data handling would need to be configured and verified before a live pZero service accepts files.
Changes before launch
A live service will need a reviewed privacy notice that matches its actual operator, providers, data flows, retention, and contact arrangements. This preview notice should be replaced when those decisions are complete.
